Nuove ROM Bada 2.0 per il weekend! [Aggiornato]

Dopo un breve ma intenso periodo di prova che sicuramente tutti i Wave’s users si sono concessi da quando SamFirmware ha rilasciato la prima ROM di Bada 2.0 (XPKG5), ecco arrivare la nuovissima, inedita, sorprendente XPKG6! o meglio… ecco che sta per arrivare! :tongue: Poco meno di un’ora fa infatti sul canale twitter di SamFirmware è stato linkato un post con le immagini che vi riproponiamo qui sotto

Questo ci fa capire che manca davvero poco alla pubblicazione di questi “aggiornamenti“, che ricordiamo essere tutt’altro che ufficiali. La prima versione “rilasciata” (quella che probabilmente molti di noi staranno già usando) presentava infatti numerosissimi bug per lo più “valicabili” applicando un basso profilo per quanto riguarda il debug. Adesso non sappiamo quali novità sono state introdotte ma dal tweet di qualche ora fa…

…sembra che potremmo aspettarci quantomeno sostanziali “improvements“.

Una piccola news quindi per dirvi di tenervi pronti e soprattutto mantenere puliti i vostri Wave, in quanto a breve potremo gustare nuove sorprese riguardo l’aggiornamento che farà (si spera) diventare Bada, qualcuno all’interno del mercato mobile.
Per il resto ovviamente sconsigliamo l’update a tutti coloro che non hanno intenzione di rischiare: perdita di dati, brick del telefono, crashes continui e fastidiosi, impossibilità di usare la gran parte delle applicazioni per Bada1.x, ecc…ecc…
Insomma aggiornate solo se sapete a cosa state andando incontro e soprattutto tenendo a mente che più cose proviamo adesso, meno sarà la sorpresa al momento del rilascio finale ( :wassat: a me questo proprio frega poco, ma era giusto dirlo)

Da pochissime ore ecco il log “by SamFirmware” circa gli “improvements” riscontrati in queste ultime due ROM Bada 2.0 (rispettivamente la XPKG6 per S8500 e per S8530)

SMS opening issue is totally solved (no more lag)
Adding app icon in the Home Screen issue is solved (phone doesn’t restart anymore)
Google app now is working (WAC 2.0 apps generally working*)
Facebook app now works perfectly
IM apps issues solved (phone doesn’t restart anymore)
Widget reflow now works (you can place the widget where you want)
Connection with Kies is now working (you can sync contacts, memo ,calendar, SMS new)
New keyboard
New UI font
Folder on the Home Screen
New Animations
Overall performance is improved

Whats not working?
Not all apps from bada 1.x works with this Beta
Java apps controls still missing
Missing Features are still not implemented (Voice recognition , Voice call recording)

Dolphin Browser is updated to ver. 3.0 alongwith fully functional download manager.
Emails fully functional.

Navigation Working sometimes laggy
New slide show effects in Gallery
Camera working
Java Apllications Working
Music Hub Fully functional(Not tried to buy any song though)
Social Hub fully working (Feeds, emails, Messages)
Chat On working
Samsung Apps Working

Push Notifications working

Whats not working?
Still no sign of inbuilt live wallpapers
Download manager still cannot download all the file formats(Still restricted to specific file formats)
Video Player still not supporting .flv files
Application installation not working through kies
Application Uninstall is still unstable, when done the phone goes in to the debug mode
Rotation still lags sometimes
When camera is rotated the delay of rotation is high.

Davvero ottime notizie, che mi fanno mordere le mani per il semplice fatto che quando la ROM sarà resa pubblica (giorno 30 Luglio ore 14.00) io sarò a chissà quanti kilometri da un luogo dotato di connessione internet. :getlost:
